The first thing you will do when you get your Sedona mattress is bring it to the room you will open it in. You do not want to unroll it in another room. Next place mattress in plastic on top of your base and unroll it. Next, tear plastic seam to let the bed expand and then lastly, remove plastic cover.
This mattress is Made in the USA so it is not encased very long but you do want to let it breathe. This an all natural mattress so there is no off gassing. But you will always have a “new” smell. Which dissipates.

Since the Sedona Hybrid has a coil core, the bounce of the spring system could lead to some motion transfer. However, this should be minimal because the coils are individually encased to limit the spread of motion.
Compared to other hybrid models, the Sedona Hybrid’s motion isolation is very good. Some hybrid models, especially those with thinner comfort layers, may allow more motion to spread through the coil system to the sleep surface.
The Sedona Hybrid excels at temperature regulation. This trait is common in hybrid models, putting the Sedona Hybrid in line with similarly constructed mattresses.
The temperature control starts with the mattress cover, which includes a panel woven of advanced cooling yarns to regulate the surface temperature of the bed by wicking away body heat. A top layer of poly foam allows more airflow than most memory foam so that excessive heat can escape. Below that, two layers of gel-infused memory foam further transfer heat away from the sleeper. Finally, the breathable coil system allows heat to escape the mattress core.

The Sedona Hybrid comes with a 10-year warranty that protects against certain defects, including impressions of 1 inch or more, defects that result in splitting and/or cracking foam, and defects or deterioration in the foam’s cell structure. Brooklyn Bedding will repair or replace the mattress if they determine it has a qualifying defect.
Only the original owner is eligible for this warranty, and proof of purchase is required. Mattresses that are stained, burned, cut, left compressed for 60 days or longer, or otherwise physically damaged do not qualify for warranty coverage. Damage must also not be the result of an improper foundation.
