The creators of the popular brand Leesa have aimed to elevate the online bed in a box experience with their new brand Sapira. The new hybrid design offers great deep support, cooling and motion reduction all while offering very good pressure relief at the same time. This is one to consider for sure.

Like to sleep cool – Foam mattresses can sleep warm. Sapira uses an aerated layer of foam on top which aids in cooler sleep. Also Hybrid mattresses circulate air better having coils compared to a foam core which won’t let air circulate as easy. I did not experience excessive heat at all. Kayla is typically always cold so heat was not an issue for her either.

Have a tight budget – Sapira is a luxury brand but is a good price compared to other high end mattress lines. With that said it might be out of some peoples price range. They offer a good financing program as well to help out.
- Want a firm mattress – Sapira is a medium-medium soft feel. If you prefer an extra firm mattress you will want to look elsewhere.

Sapira Mattress Cover

The cover is soft and plush feeling and good for cooling as it is not too thick.
Sapira Mattress Foundation
The Sapira will work great on any solid surface. You can use a wood foundation/boxspring, slats, the floor and it will also work great on an adjustable bed.

My thoughts (Ross)
The Sapira Mattress impressed me for the following reasons.
A.) To me the overall feel of Sapira impressed me.
B.) I was very impressed with the edge support the Sapira offers.
C.) It worked well in all sleeping positions.
D.) The mattress slept cool, had good motion reduction.
E.) The overall build quality is higher end. The mattress does not bottom out like some 10″ foam mattresses can. It will be liked by most people who try it, and will perform well for heavier people as well as lighter.
Her thoughts (Kayla)
Sapira was noticeably more luxurious then many of the brands we have tested. Which it should as it has a higher price tag but it seems like it is built better. With mattresses you get what you pay for so typically if you send more you’re going to get a longer lasting mattress as well. It has a perfect medium feel that worked well for my body in all sleeping positions as well. I would definitely recommend it.

Temperature:
The top layer is aerated and did not trap heat. In addition, Sapira uses a coil unit. Generally a coil unit will circulate air better than a foam core. The memory foam layer also draws heat from the top layer. It never got excessively hot for us.
Adjustable Base Performance:
We tested Sapira in a king and do not have a king adjustable base. However, all of the hybrids at my store work well on the adjustable bases.

Overall Summary
Overall, I was impressed by the Sapira Mattress and the company. I personally really like hybrids. I enjoy having the smooth top mattress but also still utilizing a coil system. A few weeks ago I spoke with the owner as he was coming back from London and had just donated a bunch of mattresses to a community in need. He really believes in giving back more and more as the company grows. The feel, support and pressure relief of the Sapira was great. If you have been considering a higher end option I recommend giving it a try for sure.
