Like many other bed-in-a-box brands, the Titan mattress is compressed and vacuum-sealed for the shipping process. Additionally, Titan mattresses are available for shipping and delivery to anywhere in the entire United States (even non-continental states such as Alaska and Hawaii) as well as Puerto Rico; that being said, shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico does normally involve an additional fee. Also, the Real Sleep mattress is not currently available for purchase internationally.
In any case, regardless of where you live, your Titan mattress will be delivered within a week of you placing your online order; it will arrive vacuum-sealed and packed within a cardboard box. Once you receive it, you will need to unpack it from the box and carefully cut open the plastic covering the mattress (take precautions in order to make sure that you do not cut the mattress itself during the unpacking process).
Because the Titan mattress is constructed entirely out of various memory foams, it may take it some time to fully expand and regain its proper size and shape. According to various reports, this may take anywhere from just a few hours to up to a full day.
Additionally, there may also be some slight off-gassing. And while this odor is not harmful to you (and is largely a by-product of the vacuum-sealing more than anything), the smell can still bother some people so it’s advisable to wait for your new mattress to air out before using it.
On the soft side this mattress provides a bit of softness in the quilt so it could work for firm lovers in all sleeping positions. But it will work best for those people sleeping on their side and back.

This uses an independent pocketed coil unit so it will have less motion than a traditional innerspring. The firmer you go the less pressure relief and motion isolation, but this still does a pretty good job. Most people should not have issues with motion.
Plank uses all CertiPUR foams so there is nothing harmful in the mattresses. That paired with them being made when they are ordered they are not rolled for long which helps with any off gassing. Off gassing is a none issue with the Plank.
The edge coils are stronger on the outer two rows. This provides good edges while seated and laying down. You can utilize the entire mattress surface for sleeping without feeling like you are rolling out of the mattress.

The Real Sleep will work great on any solid surface. The floor, platform slats, boxspring/foundation and they now offer an adjustable base as well.
I really enjoy a firmer mattress. I do like the softer side of this mattress because it offers some pressure relief on the top of the mattress but is very supportive under that. For me it is a hair too firm on my side. The firm side is VERY firm so you will definitely need to be a firm lover and perhaps a back and stomach sleeper to enjoy it the most.
