You Will Like Panda Mattress if You:

You Might Not Like the Panda Mattress if You:
- You want a very firm sleep surface.
- You prefer a hybrid.
- You weight more than 250lbs and like support
- You want a mattress for heavier sleepers.
There are pros and cons to every mattress on the market and you will get a lot of benefits from this mattress due to the way that it has been designed. You will be able to find many different sleeping styles work on this mattress, which is one of the best reasons to pick this mattress. You can compromise on some factors to do with mattresses but the different ways that you can sleep on a mattress can greatly impact the pros and cons from your perspective.

My Thoughts (Ross)
The Panda mattress has a nice feel. It is around a 5 of 10 with 10 being the firmest. So it is on the sider side of medium. Ideally the sleeper will be light to 250lbs. Heavier sleepers may like it if they like a soft mattress.
The feel is nice for back and especially side sleepers. You feel very good pressure relief and support under the comfort layers.
Panda Mattress Foundation
The Panda mattress will work on any solid surface. A wood foundation, boxspring, slats, or the floor.
If you want to use the Panda Mattress on an adjustable base it will work great here too!
Temperature:
This Panda mattress uses memory foams that do tend to sleep cooler than traditional memory foams. The are also aerated which will help to increase airflow to help the mattress disperse heat better. This performed about how I would have expected for a foam mattress with a decent amount of hug. Its not super hot but will not be super cooling.
Temperature can negatively impact the sleeping comfort of many mattresses for many people. You will love that you will get the benefit of a soft pillow top without being hot or sleeping too cold. There are many pillowtop mattresses as well memory foam mattresses that sleep quite hot, but this mattress offers a great blend of materials for your temperature comfort benefits.
Motion Transfer:
Generally on mattresses hybrid coils are better than old traditional coiled mattresses but foam core mattresses are the best for motion reduction. The panda classic mattress is no different. The all foam design performs very well for motion transfer. You should feel very little movement when your partner or whomever moves about the mattress.
Edge Support:
As with most gel and memory foam-designed beds, you will get average edge support. It is not great in the seated posotion but you do not have a roll off the bed feeling when laying close to the edge.
Having good edge support matters for many factors of the comfort of your sleeping needs. You will also not have to get specialty sheets for this mattress because the edge design is not so stiff that you will have trouble with getting the right bed sheets and blankets for the bed.
Having the ability to use the edge of the bed for sleeping as well as the center of the bed can make it much easier to share the mattress with a co-sleeper. Many people do not realize that the edge of the mattress is what often impacts their comfort when they are sharing a bed. Having only a small amount of real estate to sleep on can make any mattress unpleasant to share.
Adjustable Base Performance:
The panda will work great on an adjustable base with no issues with it needing to bend.

Perfect Mattress for Teen
My son is 14 and is very happy with his mattress. The first couple weeks he commented it was a little too firm, but it has since softened up a little more. I thought about adding a feather bed topper and now he said he doesn’t need it. We are really happy with the mattress and will probably replace my daughter’s with a Panda when the next sale hits
Nightly hug
We ordered our mattress and got it within 7 days. We let it sit for 24 hours and then slept like a babies the first night. The mattress feels like a nightly hug. Sometimes it a little soft but it is overall a pretty good medium firm.
Great costumer service
We unfortunately have not received our mattress yet due to issues with fedex shipping but when I called costumer service to get it all figured out they were amazing and got a new mattress sent out that lol day!!

For the price this mattress is very nice at 12 inches thick. I would just say you should like a softer feel and not be over 250 lbs unless you like very soft mattresses. Perfect mattress for most people however.
