Want a good value – Sierra utilizes the direct to consumer model so you can save some money there!

Like to sleep cool – The gel infused memory foam did not get excessively hot for us at all. The quilted top helps as well since memory foam can trap heat. It helps stay cooler being that you have the quilting layers on the very top. Kayla is typically always cold so heat was not an issue for her either.

Are looking for a memory foam feel but not a stuck feeling – The quilt layers really impressed me by still allowing great body conformance but not giving you a stuck feeling.

Are looking for a mattress to fit all sleeping positions – Sierra is a good medium feel and it performed well for all of our sleeping position tests. Tummy sleeper only might want to go with something firmer. But, if you like to switch it up it should work great for you.

Want a super firm mattress – Sierra is a medium-Medium soft feel. If you prefer an extra firm mattress you will want to look elsewhere.

Are a heavier sleeper that likes firm – Sierra doesnt bottom which is great. But if you are heavy and like firm the Sierra might be too soft for you.

My thoughts (Ross)
We had a nice experience on the Sierra Mattress. Being that it has so much memory foam I thought you might get a sinking/stuck feeling. I was surprised that it was quite the opposite. Being that it has a quilted top it holds you up and still conforms very well.
The Sierra Mattress impressed me for the following reasons.
A.) To me the overall build and quality was above average.
B.) The top comfort layers really didn’t get hot and it had a great feel.
C.) It worked well in all sleeping positions.
D.) It has been my favorite gel memory foam mattress thus far.
E.) The handles make it easy to spin and move around.
F.) 25 year warranty

For me the Sierra Mattress had a good medium feel. It conformed well even though I am light but still had good support for Ross who is heavier. I generally like a soft mattress so I sink in a bit more but it felt nice even though its not uber soft. The mattress had a high end look and feel. Being that I help Ross move these around all the time the handles were a huge help for me. It performed exceptionally well for side sleeping. I would recommend anyone to try this except if you want a firm mattress.

The Sierra performed well for not sleeping hot. Memory foam or Gel Memory foam can tend to trap heat. The Sierra’s design using the quilt layers above the Gel Memory Foam it stayed cooler than it would if you were directly on the gel memory foam. We didn’t experience any overheating on the Sierra.
