Things you’ll like:
This pillow can last up to a year and it’s great for multiple stages of development. The covers are unique and some moms have said they like to have a different one than their friends. This is rated as the one of the top hands free items to have for your baby and the company has a great reputation. It’s great to gift other moms and you can also use the pillow for postpartum discomfort from sitting!
Things you might not like:
I read a couple reviews that stated the pillow was not that easy to clean. Some people have also stated that your baby can get fussy if your pillow isn’t positioned right while feeding and that it’s useless for breastfeeding. Beware of fake pillows on the internet, make sure you order the Boppy trademarked and backed brand. A few people have said the cover rips easily and that it’s not super soft and rather stiff
Measurements 20 x 16 x 5.5 inches, cotton blend, machine washable, item weight 1 lb, suggested age 0-9 months+

Shipping & Unboxing:
The pillow arrived in a week and all I had to do was take it out of the box and remove it from it’s protective cover. You can cut the tags off to make it a little cleaner and more comfortable. Here is my unboxing video:
About the company:
Boppy started with a mom creating a pillow to support the babies at her daughter’s daycare. Beyond propping, tummy time, and sitting support, moms realized it was also a great ergonomic pillow for nursing. The Boppy® Original Infant Support and Feeding Pillow was born and quickly became a parent must-have because of its comfort and versatility. Boppy products are thoughtfully designed by mothers and women who continue to find innovative ways to better support parents and caregivers. Our innovation manager calls our products “her babies” and puts so much thought and care into each design.
Trying to decide between the NewBorn Lounger & the Boppy Pillow?
Both the Boppy Newborn Lounger and Boppy Pillow are for supervised awake time only and not for sleep. The Newborn Lounger is that place for newborns (0-4 months) to hang out when you need a hands-free moment when the baby is awake. The Boppy Pillow is a feeding pillow from day one but acts as a baby support after 3 months old for propping (3+ months), tummy time (6+ months) and sitting (9+ months). The Newborn Lounger is not for nursing.

“We Love Boppy! use the Boppy Pillow to lounge my baby in while I give him storytime or while we work on tummy time. My baby is three months old now and the Boppy pillow is perfect for helping support his back while he sits up. The Boppy pillow has become my go to hands free baby item. This pillow is great quality, soft and safe to use products while under supervision of your baby. This is a great affordable item that I recommend for any mom.” – Jalissa (5 out of 5 Stars)
“One Month Old Loves it! my daughter LOVES her boppy. Won’t nurse without it unless in the tub and spends much of her free time in it!” – Johnny Anderson (5 out of 5 stars)
“Good for new mommies! Well I have been using it for one month already me and my baby we love it both. He already knows it’s feed time when I put him there 😂😍 it’s so comfortable if you have a baby like mine who drinks their milk 😂 moving their head a lot, super active baby This for you ladies you can control your babies heads movement so they would damage your nipples!” – Madina Mirkholdarova (4 out of 5 stars)
“Nice to have, but not worth the money. I like this pillow but it isn’t that much more useful than a regular pillow would be. I usually don’t use a pillow at all when I’m breastfeeding, but it’s nice to use if I’m trying to multitask, such as eating while breastfeeding, as it frees up a hand and stabilizes my baby. It’s also nice for just holding her because it relieves weight from my arms and again, stabilizes her. Not sure it’s worth the money but since I already spent the money, it’s nice to have.” – Jonathan Mitchell (4 out of 5 stars)
“They all use it but in different ways! I have gotten these as a gift for 3 new moms because of how useful they are in diverse ways. One mother used it for its advertised purpose, to lay her baby on while nursing. Another mother had used it as u-pillow to sit in for healing during postpartum and said it was fantastic. Another mom found it the best when she was cleaning up and she needed to prop her baby up with a bottle. She said they baby was much happier just being able to see mom. They all loved it and I just think it’s a very useful thing to have around when you’ve got a baby.” – Meghan (5 out of 5 stars)
“Easily dislodged! It was great at first but I kept needing to add blankets or support pillows around it. She kept falling into the space between the boppy and my belly and it kept moving or getting dislodged. Not ideal for easy breastfeeding, but I hear it’s great when they get a little older for the baby to sit upright.” – Lisa Orchier (3 out of 5 stars)
