The Shuteye mattress absorbs any motion well. You don’t have to be irritated by your partner’s moving around in their sleep waking you up at night anymore. You should notice a huge improvement in the motion category, especially if you’re coming from an older interconnected coiled mattress.
As you can see in our review video the motion was good, even with a bad platform! If motion is the MOST important thing to you, consider an all-foam mattress which will be even better for motion reduction. But overall, you should not have issues with motion on this model at all.
We tested the luxury firm which is the softer of the two models.
The overall feel should be appealing to most sleepers. When you first lay down you will notice a nie softness on top where the quilting foam is and you ease into the lower comfort layers. They are fast responding so you settle in quickly.
I felt a very nice balance of pressure relief and support at the same time. It is not too soft and not too firm. Keep in mind I am about 200lbs.
You sink in and have good support for you lower back when on your back and on your side it provides enough softness for my shoulder and hip. It has a good firmness level, with good pressure relief but not being too soft so you do not sink way into the mattress which can cause you to then sleep hotter.
The overall feel of the mattress is just right in terms of support mixed with pressure relief.

That’s right, you don’t need to pay large fees for delivery, it’s included in the price. Your new mattress will be delivered in a compact box ready to be unpacked in your bedroom. The box is a bit on the heavy side so it may be an idea to have a friend on hand to help you carry it.
Your mattress is roll-packed into a box. To unpack it you simply remove the mattress, cut away the plastic, and watch it expand. Although it appears to expand really quickly, it actually takes a few hours to expand completely so it is best if you give it a bit of time before you sleep on it.
The Shuteye features virtually no off gassing odors whatsoever. This is because the mattress is constructed with CertiPUR foams that are free from harsh and potentially harmful chemicals. You will have a “new” smell with any brand, natural or not but it is not a bad off gassing I have experienced with some Chinese brands that lasts a long time.
With any new brand you will have some “new” smell, but it is not dangerous off gassing and will go away within a few days.
You will know that a foam mattress has good edge support by how much of the bed’s surface is usable. The more of the bed’s face you can use, the better the edge support is. Considering Edge Support is very important when purchasing a mattress. The last thing you want is a bed where you end up in the middle and the edges aren’t comfortably usable.
This mattress uses an edge-to-edge coil unit that has stronger coils on the edges to provide additional support to reduce they roll off the bed feeling. I feel that the edge support does what it is supposed to do here. Most people will not have an issue with edge support on the Shuteye.
Proper Edge Support will give you full use of the surface of the bed and have a perimeter that is solid enough to get in and out of bed comfortably. It will also be stable enough to allow for you to occasionally sit on the edge of your bed too.

The Shuteye Mattress is packed with some features to help with heat. First of all, there is a quilting foam in the cover. I believe personally that mattresses with a quilt sleep cooler. It provides separation from the memory foam that can trap heat more. Even with copper or gel infused memory foam they still sleep hotter than the quilting foam, so it is great to have that separation.
Next, they use different poly foam layers which will not trap heat like traditional memory foam. The third cooling feature the fact that this uses a coil unit and not a foam core. This allows for much better airflow throughout the mattress.

All models work great on an adjustable base platforms. They will have no issues bending or recalling back to flat.

When purchasing a mattress it is important to understand the quality of the product you are buying. You need to look at the materials used, the design of the mattress, and the benefits to your personal sleeping style and needs, as well as the price. Only once you’ve considered these elements will you be able to effectively ascertain whether the mattress is actually good value for money, or not.
This mattress uses good quality CertiPUR foams, and a durable coil unit. The firmness choices are great so you should be able to pick one that will suit your weight and sleeping position.
Overall, Shuteye is a quality mattress and is priced right.
