Mattress Insiders $1000 Scholarship Opportunity.

Real Mattress Reviews believes strongly in education. My education was very important to me up to succeed in bus​iness and life. I went to school for Environmental Science in MN at SCSU.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • Current high school (or home-schooled) seniors attending school in the United States OR current college students already studying at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution

  • U.S. citizens

  • Anticipating completion of high school diploma at time of application or already in possession of high school diploma / GED

  • Planning to or already currently pursuing a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution

  • Carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA currently

How to Apply

To apply please create a short video (no longer than 8 minutes) that answers the following questions:

  1. How has the internet & social media changed the way you and your family research & buy everyday products and have you witnessed local small businesses suffer from the increased online shopping?

  2. If so, how could some of those companies have innovated to keep up with the times?

  3. If you could pick any type of industry that you feel might be outdated and help change it using the internet what would you suggest they change and what type of industry do you think needs to innovate and “keep up with the times”?

The funds will be available for the 2017-2018 school year.

No, it is a single semester scholarship. New scholarships will be available each year. You may re-apply each year.

One (1) scholarship is available of $1,000.

The winning submission will be the applicant who meets or exceeds the eligibility requirements and submits a video that answers the required questions using the most creative, innovative, informative, entertaining, and interesting presentation style.

A winner will be selected by June 15, 2017. We will notify the winner by email. If said winner does not respond within a week we will select a new winner.

Prior to collecting the scholarship award the winner will be required to verify their school status, GPA, and other eligibility requirements.

No, we do not accept any paper applications. Please use the electronic submission form below.

The funds may be use for tuition at an accredited university or used to cover other educational expenses at an accredited university.

Tips: Please make the video interesting, try not to just talk into the camera for 5 minutes.
